Maor Kohn is a doctor of Geography and Environment, teaching political science, environmental studies, and planning at Bar-Ilan University and the Open University of Israel. He is also the editor and owner of the scientific website EconoMarks.

Kohn is an Emmy Award-winning screenwriter, writer, playwright, and musician. Together with Dana Eden and Moshe Zonder, he is the co-creator of Apple TV’s acclaimed political suspense series Tehran.

He is married with two children.
