Dr. Ezra Nishry
Dr. Ezra Nishry is an Israeli author and historian.
After serving as a technical intelligence officer in Unit 8200 in the IDF, Nishry worked as an electronics engineer (a degree from the Technion in Haifa) and as a project manager on the development of large defense systems at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems until 2007.
Dr. Nishry holds several academic degrees, including a master’s degree in management from Tel Aviv University, a graduate from the Israeli National Security College, and a master’s degree in political science from Haifa University. Following his retirement, he completed his PhD in History at Ben Gurion University. His book, Britain’s Secret Crusade, which is based on his PhD thesis, is a comprehensive, controversial study into the causes behind the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, and its implications on both local and global scales.
Dr. Nishry took part as an activist in multiple major regional and national environmental campaigns. He lives in Israel with his family.
