Ernst Katz, MD, is a plastic surgeon who was born in the former Soviet Union and immigrated to Israel in 1975.

He has worked in hospitals across the country and served in the Israel Defense Forces as a medical officer. He continues to practice as a surgeon today.

His published works include Strangers in the Homeland (1981, Russian) and The Return Home (1985, Russian). Military Operation (1988, Hebrew) is his third book.
