Rebecca Cohen is a Jewish-Persian author living in Israel. Born to an immigrant family, she lived most of her life destitute and abused by a father with drinking and gambling addiction. She spent her youth working at the family bakery until she started school at the age of thirteen.

Today, she holds a career as a senior manager of a large retail conglomerate, where she views her workers and staff as the family she always wanted. She is a mother of two, and lives with her family.
