Emanuelle Ellison

עמנואל אליסון

Emmanuelle Ellison is an actress, screenwriter, and author of Dopehead (2024).

When she was young, Ellison moved around a lot with her family—her single mother and her two older brothers. She grew up in slums around the world and witnessed substance abuse and violence, which later influenced her work as an actress and author.

Ellison finally left home and became independent when she was just fourteen. She worked her way through high school and college, majoring in marketing and public relations. After graduation, she flew to Paris—where she fell in love with the fashion world, ultimately opening her own clothing store. When she realized that her true passion lies in acting, Ellison decided to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She worked in hotel entertainment crews, saving money to fly to study acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, and under the tutelage of James Gandolfini and Darnell Martin at the Joe Paradise Studio.

Ellison’s acting career includes Nathan Cox’s Mantis Woman, a role in Punchers alongside the cast of The Sopranos, and the television series In Our World.

She is currently working on her next book.
