Amit Assa (1963) retired from the intelligence services to become a full-time grandfather and author. In his first novel, Infiltration Games, Assa taps into his experience in managing and training dozens of covert operators behind enemy lines to deliver a hyper-realistic story on the moral dilemmas they face.

Assa currently resides in Israel. He is a father of five and a grandfather of five grandchildren.
