Yaël König is an award-winning author and recipient of the French Academy’s First Prize for Poetry. In tandem with her career as a literature teacher, she began writing novels, and has published over 16 books, which were translated into multiple languages. Her first book, Fresca, won the Prize for the First Novel of Librarians when she was only sixteen years old.

She advocates for human rights, women’s rights, and coexistence, for which she received the sponsorship of the City of Paris.
