Heni Kaspi is a debut author and restaurateur based in Perth, Australia. Originally from Israel, he draws on his rich life experiences in Salted Fish—from immigrating and adapting to new cultures to running a successful restaurant and playing jazz saxophone. Kaspi’s thoughtful, prosaic storytelling is inspired by philosophical authors like Albert Camus.

He currently owns and operates a cooking school with his wife, Riki, and continues to enjoy playing the saxophone in his spare time.

Salted Fish is his first novel.
