Uri Binder is an Israeli publicist, editor, and author of many children’s books and adult novels. His latest, The Son I Lost Twice, is inspired by Binder’s sixteen-year-long journey

treating his post-traumatic son, Gil, and the challenges facing post-traumatic veterans today.

A military veteran himself, Binder worked as the editor-in-chief of Maariv in southern Israel for 45 years. He holds degrees in literature, Hebrew, and education.
