Tali Shapira Shechter (1964) is an Israeli author, lawyer, mediator, and musician.

A daughter of Holocaust survivors and a former prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office, Shechter knows the importance of mental health and support, and volunteers at a mental health hotline.

Drawing on her own life experiences, Shechter’s novels are full of legal narratives and their human aspects, focusing on multi-dimensional characters facing crisis after crisis.

Shapira Shechter is married and a mother of three.
