Lilac Sigan
Lilac Sigan is a prominent journalist and the bestselling Israeli author of Words Apart, which remained on Israeli bestseller lists for a year, received rave reviews, was referred to as “a life-changing book” by the owner of Israel’s biggest bookstore chain, received vast attention from media and readers – and was recorded as a unique audiobook production with a leading Israeli actor reading the part of Michael.
Sigan has a degree in economics and an MBA in marketing (Tel Aviv University). She published her first three bestsellers (a non-fiction and two fiction novels) while serving as a columnist and deputy editor at Israel’s leading business newspaper, Globes. Today she is a full-time author (Yediot Books, Israel’s leading publishing house), columnist (Ma’ariv, one of Israel’s leading newspapers), and radio and television commentator.
Throughout her career, Sigan has written for Haaretz, Huffington Post, Jerusalem Post, Newsweek, and others. She has hosted talk shows on Channel 10 and Israel’s Educational Channel and served as VP of Current Affairs at Channel 2, Israel’s leading broadcast channel.
She is married, has two grown daughters, and lives in the suburbs of Tel Aviv.
