Joy Ritchie spent two years volunteering at an IVF clinic when she was 18 years old. Little did she know that some years down the road she would be returning to that same clinic, this time as a patient.

As a mother of two wonderful boys, conceived with the help of a genetic donation, Joy Ritchie looked for a way to share with her boys the special story of how they came to be. It was important to her that they grow up with this awareness so that it would be part of their reality from the very beginning.

With this book, she brings forth a playful, kind and loving atmosphere for parents and children to discuss the unique way in which they came into this world.

Joy Ritchie has a BA in economics and business, an MA in law, and in her day-to-day life runs a privately-owned boutique business.
