Hertzel Frenkel R.I.P
My name is Herzel (pronounced like Hertz rent a car with an L at the end) Frenkel. I am 77 years young, an engineer by profession, a sailor by heart and retired from both. I now employ my creativity writing books. The Chase is my third literary creation. Born and raised in Israel, I studied mechanical engineering at Los Angeles State University (then known as Cal State L.A.) and enjoyed most of my career years designing radars and MRI apparatuses. In between I managed to raise a daughter, a son and four grandchildren and to lose my beloved wife to cancer. For years, on many vacations, I sailed with my wife amongst the many Mediterranean ports equating Greek and Turk folks alike. The Med ambient and its people were the background for this book.
