Dr. Orit Even Shoshan-Reshef
Dr. Orit Even Shoshan-Reshef has been working as a bibliotherapist for over two decades, working with teens, adults, and children at her private clinic. Over the years, Dr. Even Shoshan-Reshef has taught bibliotherapy, group therapy and dynamics at different colleges, where she developed the “Authentic Bibliotherapy” method. She also lectures and hosts professional international workshops at AGPA and IAGP.
During her many years of work, Dr. Even Shoshan-Reshef faced plenty of situations where patients grew tired of the hardships of their reality. That feeling of inaptitude made her understand the need for a new type of therapeutic tool. In her book Storytelling Therapy, Dr. Even Shoshan-Reshef presents The Kingdoms Game: a first-of-its-kind therapy method, using patients’ imagination as a tool for personal therapy and growth. As an unconventional emotional therapist, she courageously and authentically presents difficult questions and subjects which arise both in and out of the therapy room.
