Unidentified Contact by Ariel Cohen

Unidentified Contact

It’s 1996, and the whole world is in the middle of a UFO-sighting craze. Helicopters scramble to chase mysterious objects that appear and disappear at unimaginable speed, only to come up empty-handed.

No one has been able to prove—or disprove—anything… yet.

Ofer knows there is no such thing as “aliens.” Every unidentified flying object has a logical explanation. Extraterrestrial life forms are simply men in rubber suits. He has other, better things to worry about—like proposing to his longtime girlfriend and passing his astronomy entry exams.

But just when he’s done thinking about the absurdity of extraterrestrials, Ofer finds himself face-to-face with an actual flying saucer—and its beautiful alien pilot. Suddenly, he’s a million miles away from home and desperately trying to find a way to communicate with his captor—who doesn’t speak a word of English but seems intent on taking him on a literal spin through outer space.

Ofer wants nothing more than to return home, but when he discovers that his kidnapper, Venus, is a part of her own planet’s mission to find life on alien planets, he decides to help establish contact between their two species. To do so, he and Venus must escape military pursuits, neutralize renegade satellites, and evade deadly asteroid showers.

Where did Venus come from? Why was Ofer taken—and will he be able to find his way home?

Be prepared for a science fiction adventure like you’ve never read before, as Ofer and Venus are about to find out everything they thought they knew about life and space was wrong.
