Budotherapy
The purpose of martial arts has nothing to do with victory or loss in battle, but rather, with psychological growth and spiritual development.
Budotherapy is about self-growth and compassionate presence in the interpersonal healing encounter, common to both psychotherapy and the martial arts. This method is also closely related to mindfulness-based therapies, especially Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). Budotherapy enables practitioners to bravely face deep emotions, contain pain and difficulties, and achieve a life of love, emotional partnership, a sense of security, and inner freedom.
In this book You will learn how to:
- Overcome fears and weaknesses
- Develop self-awareness, inner peace and self-worth
- Approach your emotional world with honesty and courage
- Improve your mental and emotional abilities
Gabo Weis, a therapist and veteran teacher of traditional Karate, shares his knowledge and experience, while inviting you to connect with your body and soul.
