Born in northern Tel Aviv, Yoni Goldstein was a software engineer and business manager before she turned her attention to writing. She began writing short stories as a hobby, but when she heard her friend Catarina’s life story, she was fascinated by the sharp contrast in their upbringing. Together, they co-authored A Crop Farmer’s Daughter.
