Yossi Koren
Yossi Koren is an Israeli author. His first novel, All We Cannot Leave Behind, describes the effect of the 1973 war on his generation. His second book, published in Hebrew, deals with the complexity of human identity.
Koren was born in Israel in 1952. He joined the IDF and served as a company commander in the IDF Artillery Corps during the Yom Kippur War, and later as a battalion commander. He retired and served in the reserves as a lieutenant colonel.
A marketing expert, Koren has led hundreds of strategic processes and branding communication tasks in different global markets and media arenas. He is the creator of the NEXT methodology, assisting business leaders in finding their next identity.
As a global vice president at Teva Pharmaceuticals (2009-2017), he headed the corporate communications division and the branding unit, building Teva’s visual language and global brand strategy.
Koren is a graduate of Bezalel Design Academy in Architecture and studied at U.C. Berkeley School of Business Administration in marketing and communication studies. He is married to Tamar and has a daughter and a son.
