Dr. Naphtali Brezniak was born in Israel in 1950 to Holocaust survivors Moshe Brezniak and Tovah Rochman. After completing his medical degree, he enlisted as a physician in the IDF. Later, he redirected his career to become a dentist (DMD) specializing in orthodontics in San Francisco. The landscapes, diverse living environments he inhabited, and the people surrounding him all serve as a backdrop to the five books he authored, all of which are based on true stories. The Lightmaker of Auschwitz is completely authentic and was validated by the Yad Vashem Institute.
