Benny Steinberg is a lawyer, former university lecturer, essayist, and fiction author. Throughout his career, Benny was exposed to complicated criminal affairs and the drama of human dynamics, deepening his knowledge of the human condition. His debut novel, The Garden Within (2016), was published in Hebrew and was well-received. His second novel, Over the Hill, was written out of Benny’s intimate experience with retirement homes, where his parents resided for many years. The novel tells of the dramatic events that send the residents of a small retirement complex into a spiral, and deals with the hardships of age and isolation during our golden years.
