Zeev Segev is a retired orthopedic surgeon and passionate cyclist. He practices his hobby in the mountains around the city where he lives, in the south of Israel, Eilat. His book Imperative Strike was inspired by a heroic operation to rescue jet passengers abducted by terrorists to an airport in Uganda. The events of this action and the unpredictable operation impressed him so much for years, until he started writing his book, which is beyond imagination as well, but completely different. The only concern arises from this killing machine, as it appears in the book, from the fear that it will ever become a reality.
