Ziva Benreuven was born in Israel-Palestine in 1932, and brought up in the Jewish Pioneering Zionist Settlement, Kibbutz, in Israel. She holds a BA in Literature and Biblical Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and worked as an educator at several Hebrew schools before starting her career as a fundraiser for the Jewish community in America. She returned to Israel in 2013, where she lives today, surrounded by her family.
